Taproot Yoga

This post is part of an ongoing series of articles featuring our business members and how they’ve been dealing with the COVID-19 health crisis. Please support our Chardon community by shopping locally!

We are a yoga studio featuring yoga classes, massage, a retail boutique, community events and more.

How long have you been in business?

2 1/2 years

How has your business or organization been impacted by COVID-19? What additional challenges are you facing?

We had to close our doors, then for re-opening we are limited to the number of people in class, which we understand, and it has dropped our numbers in half. We have taken the SBA loans which have allowed us to stay open yet I fear being able to pay them back.

What have you done to adapt?

We have put our classes up online for those that wish to stay home.

What is something you would like people to know about your business or organization?

We are a no frills type of yoga studio that hopes anybody and everybody feels welcome. Our community, both in studio and outside in greater Chardon area is our love and focus. We are local and love it!

How can the local Chardon community help?

Support local business as much as possible. Instead of Amazon, call and order from local small business if possible. Stop in to a local shop and see what they have to offer. Purchase gift certificates.

To help us specifically, come try a yoga class or try an online yoga class. Come check out our small retail boutique for unique gifts. Also, call your local state representatives and ask, as a concerned community member, that these loans we have had to take to stay open be forgiven since we had to shut down.
