Giving Garden

The Giving Garden is a project that was spurred into action not only by the need to visually upgrade Main Street Alley, but by a sense of responsibility that the Chardon Square Association felt to address hunger in Chardon and Geauga County.

The garden is used to grow vegetables that are donated to Pilgrim Christian Church, one of the seven food pantries of the Geauga Hunger Task Force.

If you have donations to give, please consider donating. The Geauga Hunger Task Force has food pantries in Burton, Chagrin Falls, Chardon, Chesterland, Middlefield, Newbury, and Thompson.

Please visit the Geauga Hunger Task Force for more information.

The Giving Garden Mural was completed in July 2022 by local artist Elliot Miller, a 2020 graduate of Chardon High School.

80s movie fans should recognize the time on the courthouse clock tower. Hopefully we won’t have any lightning strikes!
