Giving Garden

The Giving Garden is a project that was spurred into action not only by the need to visually upgrade Main Street Alley, but by a sense of responsibility that the Chardon Square Association felt to address hunger in Chardon and Geauga County.

The mural, done in a style dubbed “contemporary whimsey” by local artist Chris Klee of Square City Tattoo, has received great acclaim from many residents.

The garden is used to grow vegetables that are donated to Pilgrim Christian Church, one of the seven food pantries of the Geauga Hunger Task Force.

If you have donations to give, please consider donating. The Geauga Hunger Task Force has food pantries in Burton, Chagrin Falls, Chardon, Chesterland, Middlefield, Newbury, and Thompson.
