Chardon was founded in 1812 and later incorporated into the Village of Chardon in 1851. At that time, the Square was the center of commerce, education, local government and community.
Today, the Square remains the heart of Chardon where residents gather for community events, concerts and festivals. The Square offers locally owned restaurants, shops, entertainment venues, and professional services.
The Chardon Square Association has two basic tenets to its charter:
Association meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at the Chardon Municipal Center, 111 Water Street, at 6:00 PM. All members, and those wishing to become members, are encouraged to attend.
Please consider becoming a member and helping us continue our work in Chardon.
