Promoting the past and preserving the future of Chardon Square
  • We help build a sense of community and camaraderie between businesses, organizations and individuals committed to helping preserve and promote the historic district of our city.
  • We provide opportunities for networking, sharing of ideas and resources, and hands on activities to help the heart of our community.
  • We present several special community events throughout the year, including the lighting of the square, Arts Festival, Flea Market, Farmers Market and KidsFest.
  • We continue to create and improve partnerships with other community organizations, such as the Chardon Chamber of Commerce, Chardon Tomorrow, United Way, Destination Geauga, Geauga Council for the Arts, Geauga Lyric Theatre and more – all working in support of each other to continue the evolution of the Square and surrounding districts.
  • We utilize social media to promote our events and our members.
  • We offer opportunities for our business partners to participate in joint marketing and free advertising whenever possible.
  • We work with the City to foster a pleasing aesthetic experience of the historic district, with regards to flower baskets, flags, Christmas decorations, cleaning and more.
  • We help the City gain public input and decision making on important projects, such as the Heritage House, signage and other projects as they come up.
  • We believe there is strength in numbers and value to coordinating efforts within our community.
